The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mombasa chapter in partnership with the Institute of Public Finance Kenya (IPF) and the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) held the first public–private dialogue (PPD) with the County Government of Mombasa. The essence of the PPD was not to review policy outcomes as such, but rather establishment of a viable process and framework to permit the collaboration between the county government and the private sector in Mombasa. Through PPDs policymakers and business experts can accurately determine the spot for reforms especially during this period when we expect a change in the county leadership come August 2022.
