KNCCI and the Ugandan Consulate Sign a Collaboration Pact

In 2021 the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mombasa Chapter in collaboration with the Uganda Consulate in Mombasa organised a two days symposium at Pride Inn Paradise Hotel in Shanzu. The event was organised under the theme; Unlocking the Potential of Agribusiness to Enhance Export Performance. The symposium will bring together over 500  different stakeholders from public and private sector from Kenya and Uganda and it was graced by six minsters from both Kenya and Uganda.

Today the Chairman of KNCCI Mombasa Mr. Mustafa Ramadhan was joined by the Ugandan Consul General,  Amb. Paul Mukumbya in an MOU signing ceremony held at the KNCCI office in Mombasa.

The MOU signed today is not by chance, but by deliberate actions by the Kenya National Chamber of commerce and Industry and the Ugandan Consulate in Mombasa that aims at creating a platform that can advance and actualised the resolutions arrived at during the above-mentioned symposium.

We are optimistic that this connection will build trust, access, and expertise that will help local businesses find new opportunities and resources. Whether it is access to new markets, assistance navigating import and export regulations, or introductions to new partners.

Through this MOU the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership e Ugandan Consulate in Mombasa will expand the resources available to the local businesses to grow, enhance and support trade between the two countries.
